The choice is simple.

He may be a dumbass, but he's done pretty well so far. Not like there's anyone else. Kerry is a retard, and Nader, well yeah. We'll leave it at that.

Vietnam is great!

In other news: Elliot is distancing himself away from the Shoutcast idea. For some reason he refuses to do it on a regular basis. I think it should be every sunday at 11.

Ok that hardly qualifies as news for now.

Wow Food
Let's do a restaurant review:

First, my restaurant, The Tropical Palm Cafe.
Not actually MY restaurant, but I work there so it's mine in a way.
Excellent select of "American Food." I.e Pasta's, Sandwiches, AMAZING Burgers (fuckers are like an inch thick and super good,) Salads, few hot selections. We have a different soup every day, and Chilli is always on hand. Let me say that the Chilli is sexcellent. I ate it religiously for ages for breakfast with a ton of cheese on it. Mmmmmm. We also serve dinner. Chicken Cordon Blue is great, it's our head chefs recipe. Different specials every day. Overall the service is excellent and friendly (unless you super piss us off,) the owners are always on location, and we're pretty cheap too. If you're looking for a nice place to go, this is it.

Secondly, a place a went to recently, The Coffee Beanery.
While you may have to put up with "cool kids" who think it's cool to be on the "scene" and drink coffee, this place is pretty good. They do have hot food prepared there, along with a nice selection of drinks. They also have live music just about every day, which Karaoke on sundays starting at 6:30. I usually get a hot chocolate. The large is pretty big and topped with whipped cream and served by a cute worker slave girl. Yummy. Sit down, relax, read the newspaper, and enjoy yourself. Nice place to go for breakfast or on break.

Vietnam.
Battlefield: Vietnam. If you've played BF: 1942 and liked then Vietnam is the choice for you. If you're like me and have watched Full Metal Jacket, and listened to hippie music of the Vietnam era, and have earned an intense hatred disliking of LBJ and his ability to send the country in a downward spiral, then I would purchase this game.

'What does it have?' you ask? The game is more designed for platoons of units going after a single objective rather than '42s one man army/assault squadron. The best reason for staying in a rather tight nit group is the expansive vegetation. And since the foliage is napalm resistant, it makes traveling along a sweltering, hot, foreign jungle all the more despicable and miserable. If you happen to make it to any sort of road or place of less plants and trees you can take just a moment to crouch and gaze across the shrubs and the bushes to look for any light earthen colored zipper heads who are carrying a full payload for any wide-eyed intruder. Bullets whizz past you and your speakers mimic that of the surround-sound movie quality until a few find your body and turn you into one of the countless makeshift wooden crosses with helmet and guns of their previous owners serving as a grim realization of the danger to all who play the game.

Haven't seen too many traps put out by the NVA, but both sides have been relying on their moveable spawn points the US has crates which can be picked up in the Huey's and the NVA (North Vietnamese Army) can "dig" tunnels in which for more enemies to pour out like goblins on a human village. (Yes, that was a useless reference) Coming back to Hueys and other helicopters, they were a needed addition to the game, as fighting the Vietnamese would be damn near impossible without them. Paired up with jet technology the skies are no longer a safe haven for anyone. As opposed to 1942.. When ground units fought ground units, and air fought air. (There were some anti-air/anti-ground exceptions.. but let's be realistic there was a huge gap between them.) I've seen helicopters pilots circle bases and reign with bullety death for the newly spawned.

There of course is the music. Which I believe enhances the game experience. If you're a NVA with hear seeking rockets (which are harder to use than you think), all you have to do is lay low and listen for the American rock music to come your way. Without the Doppler effect it would be damn near impossible to gauge proper distance with faster moving vehicles, and now all you have to do is wait for the proper movement and hope that the pilot doesn’t know how to out-maneuver the rockets so you can force the pilots to drop and become easy prey on the ground.

I could easily go one forever spouting off my likes and dislikes of this game. But, I won’t. Dawn of the Dead tonight. Then more Vietnam.

Oh My Sphincter
Trying to force an update is like trying to force out a large piece of solid, sideways feces. It's just going to end bad people. That's why this update isn't forced. More coerced. As of late our shoutcasts have been well, even with their small amount. We have successfully targeted our listener base and have also discovered what they want to hear about. Video games and sex. What else is there anway? Well, we won't get into that. All future shoutcasts shall be chock full of video game goodness and sexual innuendos. I'm sure you're just itching for the next one.

So you must ask, what has been happening in the amazing adventures of Elliots amazing interesting fun filled fantastic wonderful life. Not bloody much to be honest. The John Mayer/Maroon 5 Concert was excellent. I was impressed with the singers talent. I'm glad that there's bands coming into the market with good material and obvious talent and taste. I've been listening to their CD and I like it a lot. I'm not going to buy it however, mostly due to the fact that I'm too lazy to go to a store. Moving back to the concert, I hate screaming girls. Let me repeat that. I HATE screaming girls. Shut the fuck up you dumb sluts. Did you pay $50 to come and scream? Because I didn't. I came to see and HEAR the musicians. Not like half of you were anywhere fucking near anyway you cheap bitches.

If you're used to my posting style, you should know by now that most of my posts consist of random paragraphs that pertain to eachother in no way whatsoever. I've lost 30 lbs. There are no miracle diets. Eat well and exercise fatties. Your little pills won't help you, oh no.

It seems that it's spring break (I think?) and all the kiddies are down. The LAN party was good, except I didn't play too many games until later. I got pissed off when my comp couldn't run Savage and ordered a new mobo/cpu/video card and some ram. Yeah, penis envy. My E-Penis just got a bit bigger though. Until I broke my motherboard with a screwdriver. Looks like it'll have to hide in the dark while I wait for it to be RMA'd. Then all will be well. My video card should arrive tuesday. I can clock my cpu at 1.43 ghz until my new MB comes in. Should allow for some successfull gaming with my Ti4600. Sorry nVidia, maybe I'll come back later. Too bad your 9600 sucks and I'm cheap. I suppose that's the end of this amazing super duper post, more to come.

I leave you with this:

Prophecy
Just saw Prophecy with Christopher Walken (and Viggo Mortisen), and all bad acting and low budget-ness aside, the storyline blew. The English show on PBS I watched after it was even better.

Here's the premise if you happen to miss this little gem. Apparently there is a 2nd war between the Angels. Only this time it's over humans, and so far there is no end. It opens with a soon to be priest about to be ordained into the Catholic faith walking up the bishop and laying down to officially head his calling. Once his eyes are closed he sees a vision: and angel being ripped apart by the hands of another angel. In essence he sees parts of this war. Needless to say he then gives up his faith and becomes a cop. Well, Angels come and go, and Viggo is killed after he takes the sole of a colonel from the Korean War. This man sacrificed his a few people on the field and killed a large amount of Chinese people, netting him the "blackest soul" which is then sought after by a warring faction of human hating Angels. The Angles who feel that a compromised can be reached try to stop them, by having Viggo hide the soul in a little girl. Blah blah blah blah.. you get the point. The end result is the teacher slowly becomes a hottie, and it all turns out good in the end. Thanks to the ex-priest who fights off the angel Gabriel played by the venerable Christopher Walken (Viggo is Simon; the anti-Gabriel) using the most deadly weapon of all: empathy of a forgotten faith.

Well PBS is taking my attention, so yeah download it. And

Yee Haw
In my continuation of unoriginal and reused headlines Lollerskates seemed to die. We are, however, back. I could of course researched the problem the day it happened and fixed it then, but I really didn't feel like it. I am now back in posting mode.

I did realize one thing during my long stint. I hate dating shows. What do you get when you put a bunch of egotistical morons together in a group? Bad flaming and retarded comments. Sigh.

Today I saw Passion of the Christ. I have NEVER been to a movie like that. As I was walking out the ENTIRE room was silent, except for a few people crying. Mel certainly got his point across. While it wasn't a feel good movie, it was most definatly one that gets you thinking. Yes, I was never and never will be a religious man, and haven't learned much about the bible (most people know the general gist,) it still got me quite emotional. There's a 10-15 minute scene where they beat Jesus to shit, and it was emotionally stirring. Even if it wasn't Jesus it would still have the same effect. That one man can endure so much pain and still have the strength to stand up again. Eh it's all been said. At least I understand all the passion that went into all of the songs I've been singing for the last 4 years.

A point that has been brought up a lot in past times and was brought up recently by two seperate people I know is the issue of Jesus's death. The movie shows that the Romans didn't kill Jesus. Well they didn't condemn him at least. The Roman consul refused to pass a judgement to prevcent a riot, which in turn saved his life. He wasn't Jewish, he may of not been religious. What he cared about was the fact that he didn't want to kill an innocent man, and that he didn't want a riot to start. Kill Jesus, his followers may start a riot, don't kill Jesus and everyone else might. Could it be that part of Jesus's role was to test the Jews? They were always called The Chosen. They were the race chosen by God But they rejected the man who called himself their king. It was prophesised that a king would come. How would they know when the king had come? He cured the blind and deaf, performed miracles. I suppose that wasn't enough for them. Now I'm saying nothing bad about those of the Jewish faith, but you guys fucked up. Big time. You killed the man, the boss. Is all of this deserved?

It's all been discussed before, and I'm going by what I saw in the movie. "It's only a movie!" Yeah, well it's movie based on "fact," also known as written word which for all we know could be fiction or completely different from the original text. Yes, it's all been discussed before, and will be discussed in tomorrow nights (that's Sunday the 29th,) shoutcast. I will be your host of course, with guests Will "Magic Fingers" Schwarz, and Chase "You" Lawhun. Hilarity ensues.

Harr Harr
Now I make it a point never to hit on women who come into the place I work. This is mostly in place due to the fact that most of the women who come into the place I work are over 60. However, one does find a good looking young un coming in every now and then. Last nights happened to be one of those nights. This girl was gorgeous. Mmmm. She also looked like she was 14. Oh well, too young for me. A co worker Shaun (the bosses son,) is 15 and also noticed the same girl. So I says to Shaun that the best way to go about a situation like this is simple. Write your name and number on a piece of paper and just hand it to her while you ask her what her name is. The cheeky bastard actually did it too. He tells me not to tell him if she leaves the number on the table. Did I mention I'm a busser in a local restaurant? Yes, well she didn't leave the number on the table. As I'm cleaning up the shit storm that is Valentines confetti and other shit he calls the restaurant and I pick up the phone. Shaun proceeds to tell me that she called, so I say way to go. He then goes on to tell me that she's 18, lives in Conneticut, is leaving Tuesday, and wants to see him Monday. Fuck you Shaun, FUCK YOU! Damnit. What made it worst was the fact that I had over an hour of work ahead of me. No, I didn't complain. I ended up making $75 in tips that night. And I'm a busser. I was a happy boy.

That has the night covered. Let me tell you about the morning. I woke up Valentines morning cold with a dry mouth. What did I do when I woke up? I did what any self respecting lonely lazy guy would do. I went back to sleep. Back to a nice sleep, full of dreams of success and wealth. Some day I told myself. Moving on. The fucking Lovebirds escaped this morning. I didn't really mind because they're evil flesh eating motherfuckers. It did however upset my mother because she loves them so. She was cleaning out their cage and had taken the bottom tray out and they managed to slip through a tiny little hole out to freedom. At this point in time we have one recovered. Little fuckers. I had taken a picture of them sitting in the palm tree out front taunting me with their newfound freedom. I laughed as I watched a Hawk circling above our street high ont he thermals. Maybe Dooby will get his in the end. Maybe not. I bet he's not laughing now since it rained like a motherfucker last night. That's what you get for trying to be a smartass bird. At least I have the consolidation that I have lots of cash.

Let it be known.
Let me say it here first on .. lollerskates in Sunny Ca. That the problem plaguing mankind for many a generation has finally be solved. And what problem is this? World Peace? End world hunger (Which is silly because planets do not need food therefore it cannot be hungry) Or perhaps will voters ever regain confidence in a once wonderful system for electing their officals? Nay, these problems are mere shadows of the biggest one of them all: How can we put monkeys in a game that is fun yet challenging to play? Well folks the answer has finally arrived. That's right. Solved ladies and gentlemen.

Albeit a roms sites sans porn, www.FreeRoms.com has undoubtedly found a way to survive the burst dot com bubble and falling tech stocks(which are now rising) so that all may enjoy. Sending a harsh message to the unbelievers that the future indeed cometh.

If you are ever involved in an autmobile accident..

Lizast and best. And you really need to stick to the topic. Instead of spouting off random references.
Name a few cigarette companies that have gone out of business. " Truth has one mission: spread information about the tobacco companies and their deadly, addictive products so people can make decisions about smoking" Well obviously, that means their goal is to make people stop smoking because it is "bad", because they have a reason for the spread of information, and it's not just out of the kindness of the hearts. Another thing is of course cigarette companies give them money, because they save on taxes every year after all the shit they have to go through due to people suing them because it is their fault.
"Do you know the Mayor of Naples gets paid $20,000 a year?" What does that have to do with anything? He gets paid through the taxes, the reason he doesn't need to get paid more is because he has/had a financially successful career. The mayor is fucking Bill Barnett. As for you zoning quip, you assumed because it is the opposite of what you believe that immediately warrants him being paid off by the wealthier citizens. Whereas that may not be completely false (I have enough faith that he didn't get paid off because he has more sense than that), in all democracy and fairness the proposition was up for people to vote and they did vote. The reason it was even up there was for big business to move into Naples, to help stabilize the new problems arising in the future. Because it is Naples we will have the beautification rules and such that will keep it from becoming a Ft. Lauderdale, and now that our Police is very over funded it will help drastically on the crime that will inevitably follow this influx of people/money. Big business is good. It provides jobs for people and that means that they will have more money to put into the local economy, which is good.
The other reason it was up on the voting block was because the people who proposed it had their own plan. That just makes me sick, when people expect their ideas to be heard, and when one comes up the promises more money and more business it gets shot down by people like you. If it really is bad as you say it is then it will be shut down by the people. Believe it or not some people wanted to give it a chance. But, this is a democracy and majority has to rule otherwise it would not be beneficial for this town.
And my last point (I never said second hand smoke wasn’t bad, I said it wasn't as bad) if you are going to preach about tolerance and the likes then change your point, make sure you know exactly what you are talking about and everyone that is involved otherwise you deserve to be counter pointed and you will most likely end up recanting facts that have little to nothing to do with the argument.

Boom!

Back On Task
While we're on the subject of Truth, let me talk a little bit more about it. Here's something I grabbed from the Truth website:

Truth has one mission: spread information about the tobacco companies and their deadly, addictive products so people can make decisions about smoking

While Truth does mass advertise, it in no way tells you what you should and should not do. While they hint at the fact that smoking is bad (obviously,) and that Tabacco companies are evil. Yes, it's true that there are warning labels on the products that they sell. However, they don't list ingredients. What happened to good old tabacco? American cigarettes have very little tabacco and a lot more chemicals. Yes, smoking is the choice of the smoker. No one forces them to do it. They are also misinformed, but that's ok. I don't really care.

Another point brought up is that if Truth acchieved its "goal," (assumed to be the shut down of all cigarette companies,) then millions will be out of work. Including the members of Truth. Who do you think pays for Truth? Cigarette companies. Fact is, cigarette companies go out of business. Do you know the Mayor of Naples gets paid $20,000 a year? Wonder where he gets his money? "Hey, forget about this zoning rule and you'll get a nice big check." Cha ching, pay day. Same thing with Government officials. They make big bucks off of Cigarette companies, and mucho tax money too.

From a Doctors Guide article:

DALLAS -- May 21, 1997 -- Constant exposure to second-hand smoke -- in the workplace or at home -- nearly doubles the risk of having a heart attack, a landmark study of more than 32,000 women suggests. Results of the research appear in yesterday’s (May 20) American Heart Association journal Circulation

There's you proof that second hand smoke is bad. Younger bodies are also more susceptible

Here's an article on the effects of second hand smoke on children: http://www.smoke-free.ca/Second-Hand-Smoke/health_kids.htm

I think I'll now leave this subject alone, as it's old and stupid.

WHAT WE CAN CONCLUDE:

CIGARETTES/SMOKING = BAD
TABACCO COMPANIES = MAKING LOTS OF MONEY
TRUTH MEMBERS = DON'T LIKE TABACCO COMPANIES
SMOKING = CHOICE

I should of thought of that earlier instead of writing a post.

Advertisement Sucks
Quiznos, who make damn good subs, have sunk to a low. Their newest ad is a total ripoff of the MTV/Vh1 (I forget which) cats with the funky eyes and teeth and zooming in and out. The catch is that they used hampsters instead of cats. I suppose we can forgive them, even for distasteful advertising.

I was innocently drinking coffee, when something caught my eye. Right next to me was a freakin spider. Luckily, i'm not too squeamish, so I attempted to catch it, but the little asshole kept going underneath my T.V.
So I went downstairs and grabbed a mug, and when I finally got upstairs ( the phone rang) I couldnt find it. I tossed the mug and paper onto my bed, and drank some of my coffee. I felt rather ill as something bumped against my lip. I looked into the mug, and the little ( but now swollen and floating) shit had done a kamikaze into the freakin mug!
