It'll most likely be decriminalized 15-20.. then legalized in about 20-50 years. The only reason being that it's bound to happen is because of the financial responsibilites attached, as well as the political responsibilites to other countries, we[as a country] aren't ready at this point in time to bear and of the brunt from such a tremedous decision.

But it won't be as glorious as you might think it is. Once it is legal people won't smoke as much, and it'll be like any other trend and eventually become not as fun or cool. It has to become boring first, nothing fun has ever passed through congress, and yes Elliot that was sarcastic.

legalize it yes, not because of stupid burn outs like you can get legally get high. Tax it just like cigs and alcohol, even go so far as have phillip-morris produce packs of joints. Definitly be a big boost to the economy and it would open up alot of space in the penal system for actual felons.
