A small group of rabbits arye (pronounced A-Rye) stuck along on a deserted isle. There was but one palm tree betwixt them so they began to talk about their situation.
The first rabbit suggests a mass suicide, his reasoning being to end the suffering as quickly as possible. The second rabbit suggested waiting until food arrived. The third suggests that when hunger strikes them all and reduces them to squabbling vessels of their former selves, that they eat the first one as he was the first to end his life anyway. The fourth and last rabbit offered his suggestion. He walked behind the third one and snapped his neck. His justification for murder, he will be the first to die as he comes around to kill the rest for sport.
It was then decided among the remaining sane rabbits that they had never seen this fourth partner before and quickly subdued the stranger and killed him as well. The first rabbit looked at his paws covered in blood, and his once white coat was stained red with regret. His partner was covered in blood as well. The second rabbit soon broke down into tears and wept so loud that it drove the first rabbit to insanity, so he killed him. The first rabbit lived off the bodies of his fellow companions for several weeks until the loneliness drove him to drown himself. But, of course the hurricane also helped with that, too.
