Why is Elliot's bitching on par with more flash and zany pictures? Doesn't that do Flash a huge injustice to compare it to Emo Elliot and his not-so-hilarious capers? Just wondering.

So a bit more on the updates: I'm sure by now everyone has seen the infamous Janet Jackson boob shot. How old is she anyway? You know the moment when J.T. (Justin Timberlake) "ripped" Janets outfit in an "unrehearsed" way. Ms. Jackson's reaction was oviously one of decit to the crowd as she was trying to pull a Madonna and stir up the crowd with some controversy by pulling off some tasteless act at a live event. Albeit the Superbowl is bigger and better than anything MTV can come up with, the acts performed at such venues (which is almost as idiotic as Sinead tearing up the picture of the Pope) show only how far people will sink to regain rapidly wanning populatrity. Even though it was a nice tit.

Speaking of Superbowl antics here's a riddle: What does Pepsi and Truth have in common? Their ability to take advantage of volatile situations i.e. controversy and lie to the demographic they are pandering to in effort to force a profit. An example of such is the apparent "alliance" of kids who steal music (we all do it, it's still stealing) and a popular soft drink company, with their giving 1 million free songs(1 on a winning bottle cap). Whereas not every cap is guaranteed a winner, any idiot who passed his economics class with a C or better (I got a B on the final) can see that pepsi will net a nice profit to overshadow any moral implications of the heinous marketing act.

Because I leave the t.v. during the commercial break of any show as I am trained to do (thank you UPN and Comedy Central) I did not really notice any other commercial that could possibly qualify as a superbowl commercial, in lamens terms they all pretty much sucked. Apparently the 4 main sponsers (AOL, Budweiser, Pepsi, and [Half]Truth) cared more for quality than quantity duing the MOST WATCHED EVENT ON TV, allowing great ideas fail under poor direction and what I can only assume as mismanaged funds.

Side note: AOL's "Top Speed Technology" commercials were the best ones unfortunately, and I only say that because the style is hackneyed and unoriginal, I guess this proves that the gaming industry is the forerunner in good entertainment. Sorry MTV, you suck a large cock
